Wellness Project

The Wellness Project was established in 2020, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, to promote the use of art and nature as tools for mindfulness and mental wellness. In these times of social isolation, levels of anxiety and depression are rising at a rapid rate, on a mass scale. The Wellness Project is our contribution to a collective solution.

As of June 15th, our Therapeutic Art Drop-in sessions will return to the Bateman Gallery for in-person sessions on Tuesdays from 4-7 PM! Also, we have been so pleased with our Online session response that we will continue to provide online sessions on Thursdays!

We really value our participants who have been dedicated to joining us for Online Drop-in sessions from all over Canada. We have answered your call, and will continue to provide Online sessions for you on Thursdays from 8:30-10:30 AM Pacific Time! Please join our art therapist, Kaitlin McManus, by dropping by the Gallery on Tuesdays, or Online on Thursdays by booking an appointment on our website here.

We work with community and service groups to provide free access to the Bateman Gallery and deliver free art and nature programming. If you represent a community or service group and are interested in participating, please complete the form below.
