Gallery
The Bateman Gallery illuminates the wonders of the natural world, shares environmental knowledge, and deepens human-nature connection. It is home to a permanent collection of Robert Bateman’s work and a rotation of visiting exhibits by other ecological artists that uphold his legacy.
The Bateman Gallery is open with COVID-19 safety procedures in place adhering to guidelines set out by the B.C. Ministry of Health, WorkSafeBC, the Government of Canada, and the World Health Organization. There are no longer capacity limits for our gallery and shop. Masks are preferred, but are not required. Proof of vaccination is only required for events and organized gatherings.
We offer admission by donation every third Thursday of the month from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The Robert Bateman: Heart and Home exhibit illuminates the inspirations, connections and soul of an artist steeped in nature. The collection is comprised of extraordinary artwork and pieces, some never-before-seen and meant for an audience of one..

Environmental Impact II
February 4, 2022 – May 28, 2022
This exhibition will feature prominent contemporary artists, including Robert Bateman, who focus on environmental issues. This work brings an awareness of the consequences of human action, or inaction, on our world. The exhibit is being produced by David J. Wagner and is a continuation of traveling exhibits that began in 2019 as a sequel to Environmental Impact I.
