NatureSketch Victoria: Winter Drawing Course

January 18 @ 5:00 pm February 22 @ 7:00 pm PST

Learning an art is a journey, it’s personal and involves constant growth and new exciting challenges, and is shared  and often taught.

The quality of education is important to students and to the Bateman Foundation, we teach art and eco-literacy with passion and experience. One of our students wrote “This was a wonderful experience, facilitated by someone who effectively communicated her love for nature and art. My group felt quite comfortable and was able to take risks with their drawing”.

This 6-week NatureSketch drawing course is taught by Bryony, who guides us through art fundamentals such as line drawing, understanding shapes and shading techniques, with a fresh and fun approach that will encourage budding artists to create beautiful nature sketches. Using eco-literacy principles from world-renowned artist and naturalist, Robert Bateman, we encourage participants to connect to nature through art and observation.
