Based on the latest update from the BC Government that warns against gatherings of more than 50 people, we regrettably must cancel the upcoming Nature X lecture on Zero Waste Living. We hope to reschedule this, but are unable to commit to a future date at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and update our operations as it develops.
Zero Waste living is a journey. Learn how to easily eliminate single-use waste from your life and feel empowered to make Zero Waste part of your goals. Take a closer look at your shopping habits, the impact they are having on our environment, and learn how you can become a more conscious consumer.
Paula & Nairn McPhee began their Zero Waste journey 3 years ago: since then they have shared their knowledge with hundreds of people, helped businesses reduce their environmental footprint, worked with local governments and NGOs to change bylaws, and opened Vancouver Island’s first Zero Waste grocery store – the Zero Waste Emporium. Their mission is to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in our oceans and landfills by helping others reduce their personal waste.
This free presentation will begin with a drinks reception at 6:30pm, generously hosted by Spinnakers Brewpub. The talk will begin at 7pm.
