An audio-visual presentation by John Neville, award winning Nature Recordist and Past President of BC Nature. This free Nature X lecture will feature facts and stories about Canada’s owls, accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and even some Bateman paintings!
John is an England-born physiotherapist, City Councillor and Mayor who now lives on Salt Spring Island. He started Neville Recording in 1993 which led to a series of CD collections of bird songs in North America. These recordings are available in the Bateman Gallery Gift Shop and on iTunes.
The Canadian Owls presentation is part of a series of bird and mammal talks given with John’s recordings and slides by Heather Neville.
This free presentation will begin with a drinks reception at 6:30pm, generously hosted by Spinnakers Brewpub. The talk will begin at 7pm.
